4 Things Richard Lee Regrets In Illegal Access Case

JAKARTA - Dr. Richard Lee was again detained by Metro Jaya Police regarding the case of illegal access on Monday, December 27. After the file is declared complete, the case is ready to be transferred by the police to the prosecutor's office.

This illegal access case is in fact different from the defamation reported by Kartika Putri in December 2020. At that time, Richard Lee was considered to have lost evidence that was used as evidence by Kartika.

Defense

Richard Lee admitted that he did not know anything about illegal access. Richard's lawyer, Razman Nasution, revealed that Richard tried to post last August but the post was uploaded by himself from Facebook to Instagram.

Preparing Video

Realizing that he would soon be arrested, Richard Lee had prepared a video uploaded by his admin on Tuesday, December 28.

"Hey, if this video is showing, it means I have been detained. I don't know, maybe from the prosecutor's office or the police. And I made this video long before that date. So it's December 19," said Richard Lee in his video.

No Bad Intentions

Through his short video, Richard Lee again believes that he has no bad intentions. He also does not agree if it is called trying to eliminate evidence.

"I'm really not sincere. It's really not worth what I'm doing. I just want to help people, I just want to save people," he said.

Product Reviews

Richard Lee feels that his educational content is misunderstood by many, even though he wants the public to know about fake beauty products.

"I just want to save other people. But, if for example, my review leads to an arrest, I dismantle all of this, I dismantle this mafia, and I end up being arrested, it's really inappropriate. I'm really not sincere, and I really don't commensurate with what I do," he said again.

If he knew he would experience something like this, he regretted doing a product review. Now, Richard Lee is being detained by Metro Jaya Police again for the same case.
