KPK Is Searching Who Enjoys Project Fees At The Public Works and Public Housing Office Of Banjar City
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate allegations of bribery for infrastructure work projects at the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office of Banjar City in 2012-2017. Investigators continue to explore the alleged flow of money enjoyed by a number of parties.
This investigation was carried out by examining the Head of the Banjar City Public Works Agency Tommy Subagja on Wednesday, December 15 yesterday. He was examined as a witness by investigators.
"Tomy Subagja was present and confirmed, among other things, regarding the alleged flow of money enjoyed by parties related to this case, namely in the form of fees for project work at the PUPR Office of Banjar City," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri told reporters, Thursday, 16 December.
As previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating allegations of bribery related to infrastructure development in Banjar City.
In an effort to investigate this bribery case, the KPK has collected evidence, both witness statements, and conducted searches at a number of locations in Banjar City. One of the places that have been searched is the Banjar Mayor's hall.
In addition, the summons of witnesses has been carried out by investigators. However, until now the anti-corruption commission has not announced the perpetrators or the modus operandi of corruption.
