Apar Tourism Village Is In The Top 50 Of The ADWI 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award
JAKARTA - An achievement that should be proud of was received by Apar tourism village, Pariaman City, West Sumatra. The village, which carries the concept of nature, culture, and local wisdom, is included in the top 50 of the 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) from the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
Apar tourism village itself presents a variety of destinations such as mangrove forests. This forest is equipped with mangrove tracking which can spoil the eyes of visitors to enjoy the mangrove forest. This location is equipped with gazebos and viewing towers. In addition, visitors can also see various types of mangroves and living creatures in the Apar Tourism Village area.
Apar tourism village also has a stretch of beach that is clean and blue and has a beautiful sunset panorama. In addition to mangrove forests and beaches, the Apar tourism village also has turtle conservation which has a unique attraction by promoting local wisdom, namely the attraction of monkeys picking coconuts at the "Beruk Science College." There, tourists can enjoy the attraction of monkey picking old and young coconuts. What's unique is that after dropping a young coconut, the monkey gave it to tourists. After receiving the coconut from the Beruk, tourists can enjoy fresh young coconut directly from the tree.
Apar tourism village also has a canoe attraction to explore the mangrove forest, as well as empowering the community by processing mangrove fruit into drinks and food.
And with this potential, Apar Tourism Village is included in the 2021 ADWI Top 50 Assessment (Indonesian Tourism Village Award) by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and invited to the 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 15.00 until 21.00 western Indonesia at Ciputra Artpreneur, Prof. DR. Satrio Street Kav. 3-5 Ciputra World 1, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.
The theme of the 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) is "Indonesia Rises". By raising 7 (seven) assessment categories, including the application of CHSE, digital villages, souvenirs (culinary, fashion, crafts), tourist attractions (nature, culture, artificial), creative content, homestays, and toilets, 1,831 Tourism Village participants have registered which were later curated into the top 300, top 100 and top 50 tourist villages by the Curator Team and the 2021 ADWI Jury.
The 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) to Apar Tourism Village is a form of appreciation for tourist villages and awards to the 50 Best Tourism Villages ADWI 2021 which have been visited and assessed by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency and the Jury who received directly by the Regional Head, in this case, the Mayor of Pariaman Dr. H. Genius Umar, S.Sos., M.Si with the manager of the Apar tourism village.
