AFF Cup 2020, PSSI Makes Sure Elkan Baggott Is Coming To Singapore, Egy Maulana Will Come Soon

JAKARTA - Ahead of the appearance of the Indonesian national team in the 2020 AFF Cup, several international players are starting to move closer to the main squad. One thing that has been confirmed is Elkan Baggott, a player who previously had a career in England.

Baggott's presence in the national team was confirmed by the Secretary-General of PSSI, Yunus Nusi. He said Baggott was already in Singapore, while Egy Maulana Vikri was predicted to follow soon.

Regarding Egy, the player is currently known to be still appearing in the Slovak League with FK Senica and is predicted to only be able to join the Indonesian national team on December 12. Whereas previously it was reported that Egy could only defend the Red and White team if they qualified for the semifinals.

Besides Baggott, the presence of Egy is also highly anticipated by the Garuda Squad. Because the contribution of players from Medan is quite promising.

Since playing for the national team under Shin Tae-Yong, Egy has contributed two goals. With that note, his presence is relied upon when the national team plays against Vietnam on December 15 and Malaysia on December 19 later.
