Pressing Crime Rates Ahead Of The New Year, Joint Officials In Purwakarta Confiscate Hundreds Of Bottles Of Alcohol
JAKARTA - Joint forces in Purwakarta Regency, West Java, confiscated hundreds of bottles of liquor or alcoholic beverages of various types during Operation Concentration from Friday night December 3, until Saturday, December 4, early in the morning.
"There were about 755 bottles of alcoholic beverages of various brands that were successfully secured in the operation," said Purwakarta Regency Head of the PP PP, Aulia Pamungkas in Purwakarta, Saturday, December 4.
The concentrated operation ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays which was held at a number of points in the Purwakarta area was carried out by the Satpol PP together with the Sub Denpom and Purwakarta Police.
"This operation was carried out before the Christmas and New Year holidays, in order to minimize the crime rate in Purwakarta," he said.

He said the concentrated operation was also carried out as part of the efforts of the Purwakarta Regency Government in enforcing Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2007 concerning Alcohol and Prostitution.
Head of the Dalops Satpol PP Purwakarta Teguh Juarsa said that concentrated operations would continue to be carried out. They will continue to do so until the end of the year.
"We will not stop the liquor raids today, but until the end of the year, we will monitor all target points that we have monitored and observed," said Teguh.
He invited the people of Purwakarta to abstain from alcoholic beverages. Because most criminal acts occur starting from the frequent consumption of alcoholic beverages.
