COVID-19 Update As Of November 29: 176 New Cases, 419 Heals Increase

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 176,381 specimens were examined with the result that there were 176 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,256,112 people and 7,960 active cases", said Ministry of Health data, Monday, November 29.

Today's recovered cases increased by 419 cases, bringing the total to 4,104,333 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 11 people and a total of 143,819 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 41 cases and a total of 863,903 cases. Followed by West Java with 29 new cases with a total of 707,728 cases. Central Java with 20 new cases and a total of 486,350 cases. Then, Bali with 11 new cases and a total of 114,201 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 94 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 71 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 47 recovered cases, and North Kalimantan with an additional 32 recovered cases.

There are 13 provinces that reported no new cases today, namely West Sumatra, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Riau Islands, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi, Maluku and North Maluku.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 54,160,249

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.20 percent", they wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 3,272 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

So far, 138,908,862 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 94,755,660 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 1,223,805. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
