Kopassus And Brimob Commotion In Timika, Police Reassuring Synergy With TNI Is Maintained
JAKARTA - The clash between the Nanggala Kopassus Task Force and the Amole Task Force has been resolved peacefully. In fact, the clash will not affect the synergy between the TNI and Police.
"Once again, the synergy and solidity of the TNI-Police must not be disturbed, this must be maintained and the problem continues to be strengthened", said Head of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, to reporters, Monday, November 29.
The solid TNI-Police synergy is also proven by the fast resolution of problems. Because, it was decided to settle the problem peacefully.
"If there are problems that must be resolved as well as possible and as soon as possible, including those in Tembagapura, they are only minor problems. But what is clear is that the leaders there have resolved them all", said Rusdi.
"The problem has been solved, now the implementation of the duties of each unit has been going well. Once again, the solidity and synergy between the TNI and Police must be strengthened", continued Rusdi.

For information, a clash between the Nanggala Kopassus Task Force and the Amole Task Force (Brimob) occurred in Tembagapura, Timika, on Saturday, November 27.
Based on the examination, the commotion between the Nanggala Kopassus Task Force and the Amole Task Force (Brimob) in Timika was triggered by a trivial matter. The clash was due to the price of cigarettes being too expensive.
