Warning From Erick Thohir's Staff To Ahok: Being A Commissioner Doesn't Mean Like Being The President Director Of Pertamina, You Must Know The Limits Before Issuing A Statement
JAKARTA - The staff of Erick Thohir, Arya Sinulingga, gave a warning to the President Commissioner (Komut) of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok. He reminded Ahok not to act beyond his capacity as the company's commissioner. This follows Ahok's statement that many SOE business contracts have harmed state-owned companies, including Pertamina.
Furthermore, Arya asked Ahok to know the boundaries between the positions of president director (director) and commissioner. The warning was given so that Ahok would not become a commissioner but feel like the president of the company.
"Don't let Mr. Ahok at Pertamina become a commissioner and feel like a director. Komut doesn't feel like a director. You have to know the limits," he told reporters, quoted on Monday, November 29.
Not only that, Arya also asked that before issuing a statement, Ahok learned about the transformation that the Ministry was carrying out under the leadership of Erick Thohir.
"We hope that Mr. Ahok will learn more from what the SOE is doing. Don't let Mr. Ahok miss the train, Mr. Ahok as the main commissioner (Komut) can't miss the train," he explained.
Moreover, said Arya, the problems that Ahok expressed have been the concern of the Ministry of SOEs for a long time. In fact, Erick Thohir has warned that projects at state-owned companies should not be read out for corruption and that cooperation between SOEs can provide mutual benefits.
"What he said has long been said by Mr. Erick Thohir, starting with the issue that these projects should not become a source of corruption, that SOEs are state-owned companies. Also, even if there is cooperation between SOEs, it must be a win-win solution. There should be no Those who are harmed, all of that has been discussed by Mr. Erick long ago," he said.
In fact, said Arya, until now his ministry has carried out five transformations that will be carried out by all companies simultaneously. According to him, the five transformations should be known by people who work in SOEs. This is because the transformation has become a reference for state-owned companies.
"So I'm also confused if Mr. Ahok doesn't understand, the five transformations in SOEs. As a Komut it should be Pak Ahok's reference and it should also be applied to Pertamina for the five transformations.

Previously, Ahok some time ago had mentioned that many business contracts in SOEs were detrimental to state-owned companies, including Pertamina. He was also angry with the findings because apart from harming SOEs, the business contracts actually benefited other parties.
Ahok was also more furious because the contact that harmed the BUMN was considered a breeze by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). Ahok made this statement via the Call Me BTP YouTube account, Friday, November 26.
The former governor of DKI Jakarta said that the contract which was detrimental to BUMN was caused because the directors concerned were lured to get something. One of them is the position in a private company has been out of SOEs.
Even so, Ahok did not mention in more detail about the contracts that harm SOEs and which state-owned companies have such detrimental contracts.
