Cadiz Vs Atletico Madrid: Los Colchoneros Win 4-1
JAKARTA - Atletico Madrid successfully crushed Cadiz 4-1 in the match continued on the 15th week of the Spanish League at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla on Monday morning.
Four Atletico goals were scored by four different players, namely Thomas Lemar, Antoine Griezmann, Angel Corea, and Matheus Cunha. Meanwhile, the home team's consolation goal was scored by Jan Oblak's own goal.
Launching Antara, the victory made Atletico Madrid move up to second place in the standings after posting 29 points. Los Colchoneros are four points adrift of leaders Real Madrid, who beat Sevilla 2-1.
Atletico's goal was almost conceded when the game had not been a minute. Antony Lozano dribbled into the penalty area after kickoff, then fed Sobrino in the box. However, Marcos Llorente managed to cut the ball to thwart the opponent's efforts.
Atletico's counter-attack came only in the 16th minute when Thomas Lemar moved freely on the right-wing. His cooperation with Llorente was completed with a pass to Antoine Griezmann.
The French forward then twisted his body before firing a shot at the near post, which goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma was able to keep out.
Cadiz struck again in the 36th minute when Stefan Savic's clearance was grabbed by Espino. He then fired a powerful shot that went narrowly wide from the far post.

Early in the second half, Cadiz stepped up their attack and created his best chance when Lozano sent the ball with a header into the net. However, goalkeeper Jan Oblak swiftly blocked it.
Then, Atletico broke the deadlock in the 56th minute through Lemar's header after he received a cross from Yannick Carrasco.
In the 70th minute, Atletico doubled their lead when Marcos Llorente broke free upfront and sent a short pass which Griezmann finished with from close range.
Six minutes later, Atletico created their third goal through Angel Correa's shot in the penalty box which made Ledesma stand motionless.
Entering the final five minutes, Cadiz pulled back when Lozano rounded Hermoso before firing a cross at the far post. The ball changed direction after hitting the feet of Carrasco and Oblak before nesting into the Atletico goal.
In the 86th minute, Atletico restored their three-goal advantage through Matheus Cunha's goal. Griezmann's breakthrough bait was greeted by the Brazilian striker with a kick near the post into the top corner of the Cadiz goal.
