Semarang Police Forms Jaga Sedulur Task Force To Supervise COVID-19 Prevention In Schools

SEMARANG - The Semarang Police, Central Java, launched Jaga Sedulur (Jalur) Task Force as an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the educational environment.

Semarang Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Yovan Fatika, said that apart from the school, this task force also involved police personnel and the Education Office.

In the task force, he said, the students would also participate in supervising the implementation of the health protocol with the teachers.

Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Yovan explained that the task force would oversee the implementation of health protocols in schools during the face-to-face learning process and outside the school.

"This program will be implemented in all schools," he said.

According to Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Yovan, the implementation of face-to-face learning during this pandemic should not be euphoria for students.

He emphasized that students still had to implement health protocols during learning activities at the school.

"Don't let new clusters appear in schools," added the Semarang Police Chief.
