Metro Jaya Police Destroys 1.74 Tons Of Narcotics, Result Of 2 Weeks Enforcement
JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police destroyed evidence of narcotics resulting from police action at the ranks of the regional police. Where, the amount reached 1.74 tons.
"The evidence is 1.74 tons, consisting of 60.14 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine; 1,658 kilograms of marijuana; 470 ecstasy pills; 24.35 kilograms of synthetic powder; 500 happy five pills," said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran, Thursday, November 25.
The evidence was also the result of prosecution from November 1 to November 15, 2021. In addition, from that action, 273 suspects were arrested.
"The number of suspects is 273 people, with details of 14 people as dealers and 259 people as dealers based on this disclosure with 1.74 tons of evidence," said Fadil.

With this very large amount of evidence, said Fadil, the circulation of narcotics is still very large. Therefore, it is hoped that all levels of society will cooperate to eradicate narcotics in Indonesia.
"This is a challenge for us because it will be difficult in the future if we do not immediately realize ourselves to work against narcotics. This is a collective war, everyone must join the war so not only the police, prosecutors, judges but also all friends," said Fadil.
