Luxury Vehicles Like Alphard, Mercedez Benz To Harley Davidson Confiscated In Jiwasraya Case Sold For Rp6.1 Billion
JAKARTA - The results of the auction of confiscated goods in the corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya in the form of 11 units of luxury vehicles consisting of 10 cars and one motorcycle were sold for a total of Rp6.1 billion.
Actually, there were 16 luxury vehicles looted by the state that were auctioned off. However, only 11 units were sold for a total of Rp6.1 billion.
The types of loot that were successfully sold were: one unit of minibus Toyota Alphard GA for Rp877,968,000.00; one unit of minibus Toyota Alphard 2.5 for Rp865,497,000.00; and a black Toyota Vellfire 2.5 G AT minibus for Rp746,016,000.00.
Next, one unit of Mercedes Benz/E 300 for Rp700,376,000.00; one unit of minibus Toyota Alphard Rp666.350.000,00; one unit of white Toyota Vellfire 2.5 G AT minibus which sells for Rp644.993.000,00; and a black Mercedes Benz/E 300 AT sedan for Rp308.853.000,00.
Furthermore, one unit of Harley Davidson/FLHX Street Glide motorcycle costs Rp432.851.000,00, one unit of Honda CR-V minibus RM3 2WD for Rp207.807,000.00; two units of Toyota Kijang Innova minibuses for Rp329,716,000.00 and Rp325,654,000.00.
"From the 16 vehicles in question, 11 units of vehicles were sold, consisting of 10 units of four-wheeled vehicles and one unit of two-wheeled vehicles with a provisional value of Rp6,100,081,000.00 from the auction sale," said the Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Center. Agung Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak was reported by Antara, Thursday, November 25.

Leonard said that bidders have a deadline for payment until December 1. The money will be transferred by the Jakarta IV State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL) to the holding account of the Central Jakarta District Attorney.
Meanwhile, the remaining five vehicles were not sold due to a bid (TAP) and will be re-auctioned.
Previously reported, the Indonesian Attorney General's Office ensured that the auction process for luxury goods looted by the state related to the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya corruption case was carried out in a transparent and gradual manner.
