COVID-19 Update As Of November 19: 400 New Cases, 464 Recovered Patients Increase
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 272,704 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 360 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 2,252,705 people and 8,154 active cases", according to data from the Ministry of Health, Friday, November 19.
Today's recovered cases increased by 516 cases, bringing the total to 4,100,837 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 5 people and a total of 143,714 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 97 cases and a total of 863,231 cases. Followed by West Java which has 68 new cases with a total of 707,235 cases. West Kalimantan has 38 new cases and a total of 41,396 cases. Then, Central Java has 34 new cases and a total of 485,979 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 200 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an additional 104 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 33 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 33 recovered cases.
Five provinces reported no new cases today, namely West Sumatra, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Riau Islands, and Gorontalo. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 51,483,621.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 5,669 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
Furthermore, currently, 133,402,051 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 87,960,117 of the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination is 1,203,590. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
