President To Inaugurate Lieutenant General Dudung Abdurachman As Army Chief Of Staff And Major General Suharyanto As Head Of BNPB
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo will inaugurate Lieutenant General TNI Dudung Abdurachman as Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) and Major General TNI Suharyanto as Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), at the State Palace, Wednesday.
Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono in his statement in Jakarta, Wednesday, said the inauguration of Lieutenant General Dudung and Major General Suharyanto was held this Wednesday, in addition to the inauguration of TNI General Andika Perkasa as TNI Commander. The inauguration is scheduled to take place at 13.30 WIB.
"The President will also inaugurate the Army Chief of Staff, the Head of BNPB, and 12 ambassadors of the Republic of Indonesia to friendly countries. The inauguration will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 13.30 WIB at the State Palace," said Heru, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 17.
Dudung currently serves as Commander of the Army Strategic Reserve Command (Pangkostrad), after becoming Commander of the Jayakarta Regional Military Command (Pangdam) in 2020-2021 and Governor of the Military Academy in 2018-2020. Dudung became KSAD to replace General TNI Andika Perkasa who was sworn in as TNI Commander.

Meanwhile, TNI Major General Suharyanto is currently the Commander of Kodam V/Brawijaya. As a candidate for Head of BNPB, Suharyanto will replace Lt. Gen. Ganip Warsito
In addition to the KSAD, the TNI Commander, and the Head of BNPB, the President will also inaugurate 12 ambassador candidates, namely:
