COVID-19 Update As Of November 14: 339 New Cases, Lower Than Last Week Average

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive COVID-19 cases for today, Sunday, November 14 at 12.00 WIB with a record addition of 339 cases.

This figure is the lowest record addition of cases in the last seven days with an average daily level of 399 cases.

The report also revealed that the daily cure rate increased by 503 people and the mortality rate was 15 cases.

In detail, the largest increase in positive cases occurred in DKI Jakarta with a record of 92 cases. Followed by Central Java with 30 cases, East Java with 28 cases, West Kalimantan with 26 cases, and West Java with 25 cases.

Furthermore, for areas with the most healing, DKI Jakarta contributed 109 people, East Java 60 people, Yogyakarta 49 people, and Central Java with 39 people.

Then, the highest death rates were recorded in Central Java, East Java, West Java, and Central Kalimantan with 2 cases. While the remaining 1 case of death and the majority of provinces have zero records.

In terms of vaccination, it was recorded that 130,283,345 people received phase I vaccine with a special addition today of 573,155 people.

Then, for the second phase of the vaccine, it is known that it has been distributed to 84,161,759 people with the addition of 743,673 people. Meanwhile, the vaccination target targeted by the government for the current period is 208,265,720 doses.

Recently, Health Minister, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, said that a normal life after the COVID-19 pandemic could be achieved if the community was disciplined in implementing health protocols and massive vaccinations were continuously encouraged.

"People are disciplined, so life can return to normal. And being the Minister of Health is like an investment in the afterlife, it's time for me to help many people by directly dealing with the pandemic", he said as reported by VOI on Saturday, November 13.
