Super Air Jet Has Opened The Jakarta-Surabaya Route, President Director: We Are Targeting The Millennial Market In The Capital City And East Java

JAKARTA - Super Air Jet opens scheduled flight routes from Jakarta to Surabaya via Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Juanda Airport starting November 10, 2021.

Super Air Jet President Director Ari Azhari said the flights would be carried out with a frequency of twice a day. This route is considered to be busy with business people, education, tourists, and government centers.

"We offer a one-way fare, Jakarta to Surabaya starting from IDR 472.800 and Surabaya to Jakarta starting from IDR 488.800," Ari said in a press release, quoted Friday, November 12.

He said he was optimistic that he could target the millennial category market in Jakarta and its surroundings as well as East Java.

"The youth category market for this route will continue to increase in line with the mobility needs to and from Surabaya," he said.

Currently, Super Air Jet is preparing service and flight operations including the readiness of the cockpit crew and cabin crew, ticket sales, cooperation with health facilities and the fleet to be operated.

Super Air Jet offers the convenience of conducting a COVID-19 test on the network of partners, departures from Jakarta for RT-PCR for IDR 195.000, and antigen for IDR 35.000.

Meanwhile, for Surabaya, the cooperation for RT-PCR health facilities is IDR 225.000 and RDT-Antigen is IDR 35.000.

Super Air Jet operates using an Airbus 320-200 with a capacity of 180 economy class seats. The airline also provides free checked baggage of up to 20 kilograms to accommodate luggage or passenger baggage.
