Interpellation Of Formula E Is Not Over Yet, PDIP Will Roll It Out Again After APBD Discussion

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI DPRD, Gembong Warsono, confirmed that the proposed Interpellation Rights for Formula E to the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, had not yet ended. Even though it is currently stagnant because 7 factions in the DPRD have rejected it.

Gembong said that the interpellation could be stopped if there was a decision from the discussion at the plenary meeting to determine the interpellation of Formula E.

"The interpellation has not ended. If it ends, it will be at the plenary meeting, not at the coffee shop," said Gembong when contacted, Thursday, November 11.

Gembong said the PDIP and PSI factions as initiators of the proposed interpellation rights would encourage the DPRD leadership to hold a meeting of the DKI DPRD Deliberative Body. From the Bamus meeting, the interpellation plenary meeting schedule will be determined.

"The interpellation initiators will encourage the leadership of the board to reschedule the Bamus and the follow-up plenary session of the postponed plenary," said Gembong.

However, this will be done after all discussions of the DKI Regional Budget for the 2022 fiscal year have been completed and ratified as a regional regulation.

"Currently, the problem is that our agenda is very tight. We must speed up the APBD because this must be completed before the end of November. Maybe after that, we will encourage the leadership to reschedule the plenary session," he explained.

Gembong said, plenary session was postponed some time ago because the presence of DPRD members did not reach a quorum. So the chairman of the DKI DPRD cannot determine whether the interpellation is approved or not.

The plenary meeting to determine the interpellation was held on September 28, 2021. At that time, it turned out that there were only 32 DPRD members present, namely 25 members of the PDIP faction and 7 members of the PSI faction.

Thus, the plenary meeting did not reach a quorum of 50 percent + 1 member attendance. The plenary meeting was finally postponed and will be rescheduled at a meeting of the Deliberative Body (Bamus).
