KPK Arrests Former KPP Official Related To Prayitno's Alleged Bribery Case
JAKARTA - As a result of the development of the alleged bribery case of accepting gifts by a taxpayer (company) that ensnared former officials of the Directorate General of Taxes, Angin Prayitno Aji and Dadan Ramdani, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again arrested one suspect in South Sulawesi (South Sulawesi). ).
"One suspect in the development tax of Angin et al was arrested in South Sulawesi," said Acting Spokesperson for KPK Enforcement, Ali Fikri, Thursday 11 November.
However, Ali Fikri did not specify the identity of the suspect and the chronology of the arrests. Ali said, his party will convey it clearly in a press conference whose schedule is not yet known.
Meanwhile, CNNIndonesia on Thursday 11 November reported that the suspect arrested was the Head of KPP Pratama Bantaeng, South Sulawesi - Middle Tax Auditor, Directorate 2 for the 2014-2019 period, with the initials WR. He was examined as a witness in the investigation of this case.

Previously, Angin and Dadan were designated by the KPK as suspects in cases of alleged receipt of gifts or promises by taxpayers (companies) related to tax audits for the 2016-2017 fiscal year as referred to in Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b or Article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Law (Tipikor) Jo Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
Both are suspected of accepting bribes from tax consultants and taxpayer attorneys representing three companies.
Currently, the two people are undergoing trial at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court.
