KLB Democrats Are Grateful For Judicial Review Of AD/ART Rejected By The Supreme Court

JAKARTA - The Supreme Court (MA) decided not to accept a judicial review of the AD/ART (Memorandum of Association/Articles of Association) of the Democratic Party for the management of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

In response to this, the Democrat Party for the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) Deli Serdang remains grateful that the judicial review was rejected by the Supreme Court.

"Although we are grateful for the refusal of the judicial review by the Supreme Court, we still greatly appreciate the judicial review efforts that have been carried out by the Democrat Party cadres," a spokesman for the Deli Serdang KLB Democratic Party, Muhammad Rahmad in his statement, Wednesday, November 10.

He said his party would also continue to provide moral support and enthusiasm to the cadres of the Democratic Party who sued through the judicial review, to continue fighting for justice.

According to Rahmad, the Supreme Court certainly has legal grounds and considerations to reject the judicial review. His camp, he said, respects and respects the Supreme Court's choice.

"We are grateful for this Supreme Court decision because with the rejection of the 2020 Democratic Party's Judicial Review of AD/ART, our lawsuit for the Deli Serdang KLB, Number 150 in the Jakarta Administrative Court becomes even stronger," explained Rahmad.

"In TUN 150, we sued the Menkumham to ratify the results of the Deli Serdang KLB and the 2021 AD ART. If the judicial review was granted by the Supreme Court, then the opportunity for the AHY camp to revise the AD ART at the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) is open. Of course, it will create new problems for us," he added

However, with the Supreme Court's refusal, continued Rahmad, his party's lawsuit at TUN 150 became stronger and the AHY camp's opportunity to revise the AD/ART was closed.

"According to the schedule, next week, our lawsuit at TUN 150 has entered the conclusion stage. Two weeks later we have been knocked out. We are optimistic, and hopefully, our lawsuit at TUN 150 is granted entirely by the TUN judge," said Rahmad.

As is known, the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) led by Moeldoko submitted a judicial review of the Democrat Party's AD/ART by cooperating with Yusril Ihza Mahendra as attorney.

"The verdict, the application for legal objection cannot be accepted," said a statement on the Supreme Court's official website, Tuesday, November 9.

The applicant in the application is listed in the name of Muhammad Isnaini Widodo and the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly as the respondent.
