COVID-19 Update As Of November 9: 434 New Cases, Accumulated 4,248,843 Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 248,015 specimens were examined with the result that there were 434 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,248,843 people and 9,602 active cases", according to data from the Ministry of Health, Tuesday, November 9.
Today's recovered cases increased by 585 cases, bringing the total to 4,095,663 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 21 people and a total of 143,578 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 94 cases and a total of 862,370 cases. Followed by West Java with 62 new cases with a total of 706,614 cases. East Java has 48 new cases and a total of 398,707 cases. Then, Central Java with 39 new cases and a total of 485,579 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 147 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an additional 77 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 71 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 66 recovered cases.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.35 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 7,082 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 126,459,285 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 80,070,525 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 1,170,175. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
