840 Bali Police Personnel Escort Indonesia Badminton Festival 2021
DENPASAR - The Bali Police have deployed 840 personnel to protect the international badminton tournament "Indonesia Badminton Festival 2021" which will be held in Nusa Dua, Badung, Bali from November 16 to December 5.
"The success of this event will show that Indonesia, especially Bali, is able to manage international events by implementing strict procedures, and will be the momentum to start the recovery of tourism and the revival of the Balinese economy," said Bali Police Chief Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 8.
The Regional Police Chief said that the elements carrying security in the Bali area must carry out security properly so that the success of organizing this event will also build the image and trust of the world community towards Bali.
There is also the number of security officers involved in this event as many as 840 personnel. With details, at the Daihatsu Indonesia Masters event, there was 280 personnel, the Indonesia Open Event had 280 personnel, and as many as 280 personnel at the BWF World Tour Final Event.
Meanwhile, the implementation times for these three events are for the Indonesia Masters on November 16-21, the Indonesia Open on November 23-28, and closed with the BWF World Tour Finals on December 1-5.
"The success of organizing this event will be an example where Bali will be the venue for the 2022 G-20 Presidency International meeting, which will be attended by 39 countries," he said.

The Regional Police Chief emphasized that security guarantees are needed so that every stage of implementation can run smoothly and the National Police as the leading sector and all stakeholders are obliged to guard and secure the entire series of activities.
"I also hope that during the operation later, all activities will run according to the SOP and the operating plan. Everyone must be alert in every security and focus," he said.
