JAKARTA - The Amazon Web Services (AWS) today launched the AWSeuropean Sovereign Cloud which was specially designed for Europe.Clouddependen this will help customers with strict regulations.
Amazon says that the Sovereign Cloud will be separated from other AWS regions, but the security, availability, and performance presented remains the same and will not lag behind other regions.
The first region to be the launch site of AWSEuropeanSovereign Cloud is Germany. Although only available in one country, Cloudini will soon be available to all customers in Europe.
AWS guarantees that it will not access and use customer data for any purpose. Only employees in the EU (EU) may access data under certain circumstances.
In line with this guarantee, AWSEuropeanSovereign Cloud will provide customers with access to store all metadata such as resource label permits and configurations used in running AWS.
"Customers across Europe will have more options to achieve the operational independence they need without sacrificing the deepest and deepest cloak service," said AWS Vice President of Sovereign Cloud, Max Peterson, in a release.
