JAKARTA - Sunday, November 19, shocking news resurfaced. The newly fired CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, and former President of OpenAI, Greg Brockman, returned to OpenAI headquarters in San Francisco. This was discovered after interim CEO Mira Murati informed staff that she had invited Altaman back. This information first emerged from The Information on Sunday.

As previously reported, OpenAI's corporate board, on Friday 17 November fired Altman, who for the public is the human face of a generative artificial intelligence, which has rocked the entire tech industry. However, following the controversial dismissal, Altman is considering launching a new artificial intelligence (AI) company. On the other hand, he is also considering the possibility of returning to the bot maker ChatGPT.

Meanwhile, OpenAI declined to comment on the details of the report from The Information.

Altman uploaded a picture of himself using the OpenAI guest ID on Sunday on the message platform X. "First and last time I used one of these," reads Altman's post on X.

Altman's dismissal has caused disappointment to employees and former employees and has left them worried about how the sale of 86 billion US dollars worth of shares (Rp 1.2 quadrillion) could be affected by a sudden reshuffle of management.

Former President and co-founder of OpenAI, Brockman, also arrived at the office on Sunday. Brockman has also stepped down from the chairman of the board, as part of a management reshuffle. He also announced on Friday that he was leaving the company.
