DeepL Pro: Paid Translation Service That Will Be Released In Indonesia Soon

JAKARTA DeepL Translator, the Intelligence Technology (AI)-based translation service will present a paid version in Indonesia. They introduce this service as DeepL Pro.

Since last year, DeepL Translator has come with Indonesian language skills and can be used for free. However, this version is quite limited, both from the number of characters and the capacity of the document.

With the presence of DeepL Pro, users will get the freedom to translate without any restrictions on the number of characters and the capacity of documents received by DeepL will be much greater.

In addition, data security protection will be maximized so that the secrets of the uploaded documents will be highly maintained. DeepL Pro will also get improvements in the glossaries.

DeepL is so confident with the accuracy of their translation. From the data they have, their translation service is better in several languages when compared to competitors such as Google Translate.

Looking at the potential of this service, David said that his company wants to expand their market. So far, DeepL Pro is still limited in Asia and can only be accessed in Japan, Singapore, and South Korea.

Indonesia will be the fourth country to experience this paid feature and is planned to be launched in December. However, David said that the Pro service does not yet have a definite release date.

When VOI touched on the price they were going to charge, David said this price would be on par with other countries, it's just different because the currency exchange rate and other aspects.

"The individual price, of course, is not like individual consumer prices, but to increase the volume from a business point of view, we will have a different level of umbrella prices," David explained to VOI.

Currently, DeepL Pro in Singapore is divided into three subscriptions, namely Starter, Advanced, and Ultimate. Starter is charged US$8.74 (Rp135,000), Advanced as much as 28.74 US dollars (Rp445 thousand), and Ultimate as much as 57.49 US dollars (Rp891 thousand). All of this price is a fee for each month.
