JAKARTA - Recently, Meta is preparing many new features to Instagram. Now, Instagram chief Adam Mosseri announced a trial of a new feature to react to Note on Direct Message (DM).

This trial shows where you can react to someone's notes or notes on Instagram DM using audio, photos, videos, or gifs.

"We have tested new ways to react and respond to records in DM using audio, photos, videos, gifs, and stickers," Mosseri wrote on his broadcast channel on Friday, November 10.

There is no certainty when this feature will be rolled out globally, but it looks like there will be many new features on Instagram in the future.

"We hope this gives people a new and fun way to connect and interact in notes," the announcement concluded.

In addition, Meta has also announced a series of trials of new features on Instagram including new holiday bonuses for selected creators in the United States (US), Japan, and South Korea, testing verified account-only feeds, and much more.

Most recently, Meta has finally launched a trial of a new feature that allows users to turn off their receipts on Instagram Direct Message (DM).

Similar to the features on WhatsApp, with the read receipts feature on Instagram, the sender of the message will not know whether you have read their messages or not, so you can send messages with more privacy.
