JAKARTA - Google brings small changes to Gmail on the web, by adding more icons to the menu that helps navigate users and makes them more interesting.

Previously, if you open a three-dot sign on your email body, then Gmail will display a menu to take many actions, starting from Reply, Forward, Print, and so on.

However, before the update, you will only see an icon on the Reply option and just go ahead. Well, with this update, all action options now have their respective icons.

All actions, including message filters like this, Print, Remove this message, Block, Report spam, Report phishing, Show the original, Translate messages, Download messages, Mark as unreadable.

Based on VOI's monitoring, this icon update appears to have been rolled out to all Gmail users if it opens via the web. But, if you don't see this icon, refresh the Gmail web app.

This addition follows a similar push in Google Docs last year to add icons, as well as reset the menu to be shorter.

On the other hand, Google has also announced that it will bring emoji reactions to Gmail, which it says can be used to express user feelings quickly.

With this new emoji reaction in Gmail, the search giant says that you can quickly express yourself, in just one click.

So, starting this month, anyone with a personal Gmail account will see a smiling face icon appear under their message on mobile and desktop devices.
