Duolingo also revealed the reason they presented Duolingo Music was because the company found that learning music can help read, verbal, listen, and math skills. It can even delay cognitive decline related to aging.
In addition, the company sees that more than 3.6 million students in the US do not have access to music education. Then, if they want to continue teaching further, private tutoring can cost less.
"Music is in line with our mission to make education accessible to everyone on the planet, and we want to ensure that millions of people who do not have access to music education can still develop this fun and enriching skill," he added.
