JAKARTA - Following Hamas' terrorist attack on Israel, the European Commission warned Elon Musk regarding the spread of disinformation spreading on platform X.
Through a letter shared by one of the top European Commission officials Thierry Breton, on Tuesday, October 10, they found indications where platform X was used to "spread illegal and disinformation content in the EU."

Third, Breton asked Musk to implement proportional and effective mitigation measures to address risks to public security and civilian discourse originating from disinformation.
