Magnifier App For Pixel Smartphone Now Available On Play Store

JAKARTA - After launching its newest smartphones, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 pro, Google's new Magnifier application is now available for download on the Google Play Store.

This app allows you to enlarge your small text, view the details of objects, or enlarge distant text such as road signs or "the restaurant menu behind the service office."

In addition, based on the description of the application on the Play store, you can also apply visual effects to make low contrast text more visible. In fact, in an environment with dim light, the photo brightness can be adjusted automatically.

This application is only available for Pixel 5 smartphones or the latest. Based on the findings of 9to5google, the simple application icon is a white magnification glass with a blue background.

The shutter/freeze button is flanked by zoom out/in, while you can switch between the rear and front cameras. The flash button is to the right allowing you to set the intensity with the slider.

Then there are Kontras and Brightness adjustments with the slider, as well as the plus/minus button, which can be rearranged quickly.

After taking pictures, you can continue to apply photo adjustments from Filter, Contrast, and Brightness. In the upper right corner, you can send to Google Lens for analysis, copied text, and text-to-speech.
