JAKARTA - YouTube's video production process can be very difficult for novice creators. To simplify and allow anyone to create and share videos, YouTube launched a new mobile app called YouTube Create.

Based on the announcement shared on its official blog, YouTube Create is designed as a means of easy production of video Shorts or regular videos.

It can be used for free, YouTube Create is currently still in beta on Android in certain markets. The app offers video editing tools including precision editing and pruning, automatic text, voice over capabilities, and access to filter libraries, effects, transitions, and royalty-free music.

"With rhythm matching technology, content creators can produce their next YouTube videos without relying on the complexity of editing software. All of this, directly from their phones," wrote YouTube.

While still in its early stages, YouTube promises to continue working with the creator community, as well as adding new features and capabilities from time to time in the future.

On the other hand, later this year, YouTube will also start testing Dream Screen, a new experimental feature that will allow you to create an AI-generated video or image background into your Shorts videos simply by typing ideas into commands.

Based on the video shared, you only need to type "panda drinking coffee," then it is AI from Dream Screen that will automatically find videos or photos that match the order, to be used as the background for your Shorts video.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
