Zoom Launches Zoom AI Companion, New AI Assistant On Its Platform

JAKARTA - Not wanting to be left behind with its competitors who have already implemented artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features, Zoom is now launching Zoom AI Companion.

Zoom AI Companion is a new generative AI assistant on the Zoom platform, which is claimed to help you be more productive.

"AI helps humans work better, and we believe the benefits can be felt widely. That's why we include AI Companion at no additional cost with paid services on your Zoom user account," the company wrote in an announcement on its website.

It is also noted that, if you want to use this feature, you can install the Zoom AI Companion icon in Zoom directly.

AI Companion will help you compile the chat response with the right tone and duration based on your command.

If you have to go and miss the discussion when you are in a meeting, ask AI Companion to summarize what has been discussed so far.

"You can also ask AI Companion more specific questions about meeting content. After the meeting, AI Companion intelligent recordings can automatically divide cloud footage into several chapters to make it easy to review, highlight important information," the company added.

Going forward, you'll be able to do more with AI Companion across Zoom platforms, help you improve the quality of your work, improve how you collaborate, and improve your skills.
