Supporting STC 2023 In Papua, Kominfo Will Support Digital Infrastructure Provision

JAKARTA - Sail Teluk Cenderawasih (STC) 2023 will soon take place in November. To support this event, the Ministry of Communication and Information will prepare four types of support.

According to what Kominfo Deputy Minister Nezar Patria said, the four supports were to prepare information dissemination, provide digital infrastructure, monitor frequency spectra, and monitor activities in the digital space to prevent the spread of hoaxes and disinformation.

In addition, monitoring and securing the use of radio frequency spectra around the event location will also be carried out. According to Deputy Minister Nezar Patria, this is done in order to minimize potential frequency disruptions, especially flights.

"We will carry out frequency monitoring, technical monitoring to prevent frequency spectrum disruptions that could disrupt flights around the location of the STC peak event," he explained.
