JAKARTA - Twitch announced that it is testing a Discovery Feed, aka Discovery Feed, which is similar to TikTok.

The experimental feature will eventually show clips of creator content in a vertical-style scrolling feed, rolling out today for select users.

"Our first Discovery Feed Experiment begins rolling out to select users today," Twitch tweeted on its X account.

By launching the trial to a small number of users, Twitch expects their feedback to train the company's algorithms.

"This limited experience will help us train our algorithm & get feedback from you," said Twitch.

"The Clips feature after each stream can be found in the Feed, even if you didn't take part in the experiment," they add.

The company says that initially new users will view clips horizontally, later as the feed grows, vertical clips will be presented.

Citing The Verge, Wednesday, August 23, a vertically scrolling video feed is not the only feature that is present on Twitch. The company also said in July it plans to bring the Stories feature to the platform.
