JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi reminded of historical values and commitment to advancing the country towards an inclusive digital era, during a ceremony commemorating the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Ministry of Communication and Information Building, Jakarta, Thursday, August 17.
The Minister of Communication and Information, during the ceremony which was broadcast online, stressed the importance of effective communication as a means to unite the nation, just as heroes achieved independence through a spirit of unity and passionate struggle.
"The lessons from our nation's history are very clear. The persistence to achieve unity coupled with effective communication is the power to change the nation. The freedom fighters have proven that it is not impossible for diverse Indonesian people to move towards the same goal," said Minister of Communication and Information Budi. Arie.
Budi Arie assesses the government's commitment under the leadership of President Joko Widodo to build an equitable telecommunication infrastructure in line with the spirit of heroes in achieving independence.
