Twitch Will Launch The Discovery Feed Feature, What Is It?

Twitch announced several upcoming features and updates to its platform during its TwitchCon Paris 2023 live broadcast. One of them is the launch of the Discovery Feed feature.

"Discovery Feed will be a scrollable feed in the Twitch app that shows personalized chip mix users," Twitch wrote on its official website, quoted Tuesday, July 11.

Twitch says that the Discovery Feed will launch around this fall. Once this pass is rolled out, Twitch viewers will be able to find Clips from many channels, be it live broadcasts or not.

"Our investment in Clips is to help viewers find your channel so they join you and your community when you stream," he explained.

The company also noted, prior to the full launch later, they will run the Discovery Feed experiment in a limited version to help them to test and improve algorithms, as well as experience as a whole.

In addition, Twitch now also allows users to be able to export Twitch clips in vertical format, directly to the user's TikTok account. Earlier in May, Twitch had already launched this capability, but only allowed users to export it to YouTube channels.
