JAKARTA - Bluesky has reportedly reopened registration for new users, after closing it off because many Twitter users flocked to the social media.
Developed by Twitter founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey, Bluesky has recently become a public conversation, considered better than Twitter.
It is known, Bluesky had closed new user registrations after Elon Musk, the Twitter owner, limited the number of tweets he could see. Especially, those who do not subscribe to the blue tick verification service.
"For the time being we will stop Bluesky's registration while our team continues to solve existing performance problems," Bluesky said in a post.

According to Bluesky engineer Paul Frazee, the closing of registration was due to high traffic on the platform, while updating to mobile apps by improving various things.
Now, Bluesky is re-opening new registrations but those who want to join still need a unique code to register, as quoted by The Verge, Tuesday, July 4.
"We just activated registration again, any valid invitation code can now be used to create an account," said Bluesky.
Previously reported, Musk had set limits on tweets that could be viewed on the grounds of overcoming data engineering and system manipulation. However, because many complained, he stated that the change was only temporary.
The limit applies, which of which verified accounts can view 10,000 tweets per day, unverified accounts rising to 1000 posts.
Meanwhile, the new unverified account has been upgraded to 500 tweets that can be viewed. It's not clear how Twitter will count the tweets that have been read.
