JAKARTA - During a meeting with its employees yesterday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that he would place Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in every product.

The company wants its employees to know they are in the AI race and are seen as one of the leaders on the pitch.

At a meeting at the Hacker Square pavilion at Meta headquarters, Menlo Park, United States (US), Zuckerberg explained several plans for Meta in more detail.

Like putting a generative AI into each of their products. That generative AI model will be embedded into the metaverse, the nascent virtual world of Meta at billions of dollars in price every quarter.

In particular, Zuckerberg talks about how AI can help create 3D visuals for the metaverse. In the end, the company will give employees access to some internal generative AI tools.

With the aim, help develop the prototype, and showcase the employee's AI project. In addition, Meta also plans to launch a service for Instagram users where they can modify photos via text commands and share them on Stories.

For Messenger and WhatsApp services, Meta will include the ability for users to engage with more advanced AI-powered chatbots as a form of entertainment.

It is not yet known for sure when Zuckerberg could realize all the AI features, but it appears in the near future, as quoted by CNBC International, Friday, June 9.

During his speech, Zuckerberg also talked about difficult decisions in mass layoffs on Meta, with a total of about 21,000 employees.

"I want us to use this period to rebuild and develop our culture," said Zuckerberg.
