JAKARTA - The Battery Health feature - which shows the remaining battery capacity and others - is not available on all iOS devices, but Android can bring the feature to all devices when the final version is released.
Citing Antara, Monday, former EIC XDA-Developers Shalizal Rahman has revealed that Google has added several new BatteryManager trains to Android 14 beta.
Two of them are public APIs, used to provide information about the number of cycles and charging status.
While the rest are API systems that report device manufacturing dates, first use dates, charging policies, and battery health conditions.
Rahman reports that any app with a BATTERY_STATS permit can call the API of this system, but it is only available on Pixel devices running Android 14 Beta 2 or higher.
The developer Narek is also developing an application called Batt that uses a new API to report the health of smartphone batteries and charging cycles.
Users can download it from GitLab and try it on the device if running Android 14.
However, the accuracy of the data shared by the application cannot be guaranteed for reporting what the API returns and the statistics depend on information tracked by charging ICs.

It also depends on whether the HAL' supports this feature or not.
It also hopes that Google will add the right battery health features to Android 14 so users don't have to rely on applications like Batt to check the health status of your device's batteries.
