AC Milan Vs PSG, Giroud Gives Friends Tips For Facing French Champions

JAKARTA - AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud gave tips to his team-mates to face Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Gemain (PSG). Both teams will clash on the third matchday of Group F of the 2023/2024 Champions League.

The meeting between AC Milan and PSG took place at the Parc des Princes Stadium, Paris on Thursday, October 26 in the morning WIB. Giroud claimed to understand very well with PSG attacks.

"If we want to be great against them (PSG), we have to play as a team," Giroud said as quoted by Football Italia, Wednesday, October 25.

As is known, Giroud is an international France player. Naturally, he admits that he understands how PSG's strength is as a French Ligue 1 giant.

Giroud considers meeting PSG a special match. For that, he also admitted that he was very impatient to play.

He then commented on Kylian Mbappe's performance, a PSG player who is also a teammate in the French national team. Giroud claims to have known Mbappe which he values as the world's best player.

However, Giroud emphasized that he would not focus on Mbappe. Because PSG plays collectively and is a great team.

Apart from what Giroud revealed about PSG, a few years ago the player was very happy to move to Paris.

But over time, Giroud, who is also a former Chelsea player, admitted that he found his best performance at Milan. So he feels the need to look for the best place besides the Rossoneri.

"Maybe I will like PSG in the past, but I am very proud to be playing for the team I represent and especially for Milan who is one of the biggest clubs in Europe," Giroud explained.
