AS Roma Belum Impresif Di Serie A, Romelu Lukaku: Musim Masih Panjang

JAKARTA - AS Roma started the Italian Serie A 2023/2024 with less impressive results. Jose Mourinho's team have only won two wins in seven matches.

While the rest ended in two draws and three defeats. The poor start brought Gialorossi stranded to 12th place in the standings with eight points.

AS Roma striker Romelu Lukaku doesn't want to give up quickly. He said there was still plenty of time to improve the team's performance.

"We are in a difficult situation, but the season is still long. We have to improve in training and then perform well in the match," Lukaku said as quoted by Antara.

On the same occasion, Lukaku also talked about the Giallorossi game when he defeated Frontinone with a score of 2-0. In that match, Roma had 51 percent possession and shot 11 of them on target.

"We played a good game. We gave everything, we scored two goals, and we didn't concede. We have to keep going like this," said the 30-year-old footballer.

Furthermore, Lukaku also praised his play partner in attack, Paulo Dybala, who in the match against Eusebio Di Francesco's side recorded two assists.

"Paulo has a lot of quality, with him we can do our best for Roma," said Lukaku.

Roma will play their closest match against Swiss club Servette FC in the 2023/2024 Europa League continued at the Stadio Olimpico on Friday, October 6, at 02.00 WIB and two days later played the match in the Italian League when they visited Cagliari at the Sardegna Arena on Sunday (8/10) at 23.00 WIB.
