JAKARTA - Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, can't wait to try out the Indian MotoGP race, September 22-24. This is the first time the MotoGP race has been held at the Buddh Circuit, India.
The Buddh Circuit has a length of 4.96 km and is expected to produce a thrilling racing round. Long straight crossings are combined with sharp bends, and some angles require the technical wisdom of the riders.
Marquez said he would learn quickly in understanding the character of the circuit which has 13 sharp bends. He will try to speed up the Honda RC213V at the Buddh Circuit to the fullest.
"We need to work hard to understand everything about the track and our situation with the motorbike. The goal is to have a good weekend, continue to grow, and have a good race," said Marquez.
Meanwhile, Marquez's teammate, Joan Mir, hopes that the new track can bring him new luck. He has ambitions to bounce back after the San Marino MotoGP which ended in a difficult way for him.
"Visiting a new place is always fun. I often see on social media that many fans are from India, so I think it's very important and fun to meet them," said Mir.
"The track itself seems to be attractive with many different elements. There are many things that need to be understood when going to the new circuit, so it's important to do every step properly," he added, as reported by Antara.
