JAKARTA Barito Putera will face PSIS Semarang in the continuation week of Liga 1 Indonesia 2023/2024. The clash for the 12th week of the highest caste of national football will take place at the Jatidiri Stadium, Semarang, Friday, September 22 at 19.00 WIB.

This is the second consecutive away match for Barito. The previous week they also played an away match against PSM Makassar, where they lost 0-2.

Barito Putera's away performance this season is quite concerning. Of the six matches they played at home to the opponent, they only got one win against Arema.

Apart from losing to PSM, Barito also lost three points during the away match against Bali United and Borneo. Meanwhile, the other two matches ended in a draw, each against Persebaya and Persib Bandung.

However, Barito is currently in the last four of the top four. They collected 20 points from 12 matches or six points adrift of Madura United in the first position.

On the other hand, PSIS is currently filling the sixth position in the standings. They have collected five wins, three draws, and four defeats.
