Bologna Vs AC Milan 0-2, Stefano Pioli Praises Christian Pulisic's Impressive Appearance

JAKARTA AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli praised Christian Pulisic. The new Milan player impressed in his debut match.

The United States winger played an important role in Rossoneri's two winning goals over Bologna at Renato Dall'Ara Stadium, Tuesday, August 22 in the morning WIB.

"I've always known Pulisic was a talent (player who has). This is never in doubt," Pioli said after the match as reported by Football Italia.

In this match, Pulisic played a key role in Milan's first goal which was netted by Olivier Giroud. It started with his cross to Tijani Reijnders before being forwarded to Giroud.

Just 10 minutes later, Pulisic listed his name on the scoreboard and increased Milan's advantage. This time it was his turn to maximize Giroud's pass.

"In the phone conversation I had with him before he signed the contract, it was clear that he brought a lot of quality into the squad," Pioli said.

Milan is one of several teams that managed to secure victory in Serie A's inaugural match this season. In the top four, Juventus, Napoli, and Fiorentina also won.

In the second week Milan will play a match at home at the San Siro Stadium. They will have Torino's visitors who in the inaugural match only get one point.
