JAKARTA – Haruki Noguchi is a young Japanese racer with great potential. Unfortunately, this rider died after an accident at the Mandalika Circuit.

Noguchi breathed his last on Wednesday, August 16. He died after having an accident in a race in Mandalika, Saturday, August 12.

Noguchi was involved in an accident after touching Zaqhwan Zaidi. He then fell onto the track before his head was crushed by another racer's motorbike tire.

This accident occurred when Noguchi was following race 2 in the Asia Superbike (ASB) 1000 class. This incident caused the race in this class to be canceled.

Noguchi was born in Nara Prefecture, Japan, on June 20, 2001. Since he was five years old, he has started riding racing motorbikes and then started his racing career at the Asian Talent Cup in 2017.

By this time Noguchi had managed to finish in second place in the final standings. Since then, the racer who breathed his last at the age of 22 started criss-crossing the world of racing.

At the national level, Noguchi is the champion of the All Japan Road Race Championship in the ST600 class in 2021. Di then debuted at ARRC in 2022.

In his first season, he managed to finish in second place in the final standings of the ASB 1000 class. As for this season's standings, Noguchi is in second place.

He collected as many as 105 points from a record of three podiums, of which two won. He is behind Markus Reiterberger who occupies the top position (143 points).
