Mike Tyson's Prediction Of The Francis Ngannou Vs Tyson Fury Duel In The Boxing Ring

JAKARTA – Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has confidence that the duel between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury will go beyond the predictions of many people. He believed the fight would be balanced.

The titleless duel between Ngannou and Fury in the boxing ring will take place on October 28 in Saudi Arabia. Ngannou is in the unseeded position against the boxer who owns the WBC heavyweight belt.

Tyson argued that despite having no boxing experience, Ngannou had proven himself to be an experienced fighter.

"He has had many professional fights. It's just that he has never experienced a professional boxing match", Tyson told First Take, reported by Boxing Scene.

Ngannou, a former UFC heavyweight champion, is currently training to make his professional boxing debut. He has also appointed Mike Tyson as his coach.

"By working with him yesterday, he has talent, and I see a good future in this life", added the man nicknamed Iron Mike.

Fury, considered by most observers to be the world's number one heavyweight boxer, has rocked the competition in recent years.

The boxer nicknamed 'King of the Gypsy' has scored a knock out/technical knockout (KO/TKO) victory in his last four fights. Two of them were against Deontay Wilder, while the other two were against Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora.

Therefore, many think that Ngannou will not be able to do much against Fury later. However, Tyson considered this duel to be balanced.

"It won't be as dominant as people think. It's a big mistake. We will work and give everything he has for this fight. I'm sure it will be a tougher fight than anyone thinks", Tyson said.

Ngannou has been off the grid since January 2022, when he earned his last victory as a UFC contracted fighter to win the heavyweight title in the sport.
