JAKARTA - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's career brightened when he joined Southampton. The brightness persisted when he moved to Arsenal and then turned Liverpool around.

However, in recent seasons, the former England national team player has started to fade. He even rarely played until his contract with Liverpoool expired.

Now, Chamberlain is unemployed at the age of 29. The fianc of pop star Perrie Edwards is planning his next move.

He is reportedly the target of Aston Villa and Brentford. The Turkish club, Besiktas, is also interested.

Currently, Chamberlain has more time to spend with his small family as the struggle to find a new club continues.

Chamberlain and Perrie Edwards started dating in 2017. Currently, they have a son who was born last year.

The England star with 35 caps seemed to enjoy his togetherness with his family. However, he still has ambitions to immediately play in the top club.

He told the Mirror, "I still want to be successful, I've felt it here, it's been the best years ever."

"I think I have to go and play somewhere as consistent as possible. They say you're peaking at the age of 29, so I want to go and test myself, play consistently somewhere."

"I'm still hungry, I still feel like I have a lot left in me and a lot of energy left in me. I don't like to say one thing to prove, but it's always been my attitude."
