JAKARTA The Saudi Arabian Pro League currently offers the largest salary in international football. Here are 10 footballers with the highest wages in the competition.

Since the transfer of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to Al Nassr at the end of last year from Manchester United, many players have started leaving Europe and chose to anchor in the Middle Eastern country.

Jordan Henderson is the latest big name to make Saudi Arabia his new destination. The 33-year-old left Liverpool for a new adventure with Al-Ettifaq.

Another name that is no less famous is Riyad Mahrez. He has just completed a 30 million move from Manchester City to Al-Ahli.

These two names will join Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and N'Golo Kante as well as several other popular names. In Saudi Arabia they get very high pay.

At only 28 years old, Fofana was in her heyday. He was linked with his move to Arsenal, but in the end chose to move to Al Nassr to play with Ronaldo.

The club previously Lens had actually qualified for the European Champions League. However, this was not enough to convince him to stay in France so he chose to receive a salary of 250 thousand pounds per week at Al Nassr.
