Ancelotti Confirms Vinicius Alami Is Uncomfortable In Left Leg Muscles

JAKARTA - Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that winger Vinicius Junior was experiencing discomfort in his left leg muscle.

Vinicius had to be pulled out in the 16th minute when El Real faced host Celta Vigo in the third week of the Spanish LALIGA match which took place at the Municipal de Balaidos Stadium, Vigo, Friday local time or Saturday morning.

"We will see in the next few hours the results of the medical examination, it looks like Vinicius is experiencing discomfort in his left leg muscle," said Carlo Ancelotti as quoted from the club's website, August 26.

Ancelotti said Vinicius still wanted to play the game but the Italian did not want to take the risk and rest the player early.

"Vini wanted to continue the match and I initially thought the injury was not too serious either. But he looked tired and grumbled and finally decided to replace him early," said the coach nicknamed Don Carlo.

Ancelotti also hopes that the Brazilian national team player will recover quickly so that it is possible to come back down when Los Blancos host Getafe next week.

In that match Real Madrid were able to pick up three points after winning 1-0. One El Real goal was created through Jude Bellingham's header in the 80th minute after using a pass from Joselu Mato.

This result made coach Carlo Ancelotti's team stronger at the top of the LALIGA standings with a score of nine points from three matches. Meanwhile Celta Vigo is ranked 16th with a collection of one point.

Furthermore, Real Madrid will host the visitors Getafe in the fourth week of LALIGA on Saturday (2/9). Meanwhile, Celta Vigo will visit Almeria on the same day.
