JAKARTA - BMW Astra released a documentary series by a collaboration between the company and BAFilms entitled 'Searching for Indonesia' which was premiered.

"This is the fourth webseries since 2019. The series tells the story of the beauty of the scenery in Indonesia," said Sanfrantis Tanu, as BMW Astra's Chief Executive in his remarks at CGV Grand Indonesia, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 17.

Not only telling about the charm of nature in Indonesia, but 'Searching for Indonesia' also introduces viewers about the culture of the country which has been down and down which consists of dances, culinary, legends, and fashion.

"This series aims to increase our love for Indonesia," said Sanfrantis.

The documentary series is divided into six episodes with a total duration of about 70 minutes featuring two figures, namely Natasha Lois, as the documentary host and Billy Aldo, as the director and co-star in this series. The two of them explored several areas in Indonesia consisting of the cities of Jakarta, Solo, Semarang, Surabaya, Bali, and Yogyakarta.

In the series, it was shown that the two figures traveled to several parts of Indonesia to answer their curiosity about Indonesian culture that they had not found. Both were adventurous in BMW 218i Gran Coupe and BMW X1.

This isn't the first time BMW Astra has released a documentary film or series. The official BMW dealers have presented it since 2019 with the title For Us'', which is a collection of customers' success stories from the dealers.
