JAKARTA - The development of environmentally friendly vehicles continues to increase, but in the future not only electric vehicles full of money will become domination, but the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) as well.

This belief was expressed by a manufacturer from China, namely Chery which was said directly by Guibing Zhang, CEO of Chery International. In fact, according to him, interest in buying electric vehicles is currently decreasing.

Now the subsidy last year has run out. So we feel the market has undergone a total change. I think five years ago it might be 10 times the market share of PHEV, but now I think this year and last year PHEV increased sharply but it fell," Guibing Zhang told Indonesian media crews in Wuhu, China, quoted from the Antara website, Tuesday, October 17.

Furthermore, he estimates that PHEV sales will be more fertile in the coming years. It can even exceed the sale of electric vehicles, which are now in demand by many automotive lovers.

For this reason, Chery is currently preparing to welcome this trend, both full electric vehicles and PHEV, he claims that currently the manufacturer has the best technology.

"So I think so too, but after all we will continue to prepare the technology, so whenever the market changes and needs what, we have prepared, in my opinion this is the main advantage we need to keep it good," he concluded.
